Ruel established the company in 1987 during the aftermath of the Savings and Loan crisis, when complex real estate assets required disciplined management, creative problem-solving, and steady leadership. What began as a fee property management firm has grown into a vertically integrated real estate platform focused on acquiring, improving, and preserving multifamily communities.
